Holly Tierney, our August author, writes women's fiction, thrillers, mysteries, romantic comedies, and more. One of her books has even achieved Kindle Unlimited All-Star status! ABOUT HOLLY:

Holly Tierney is the author of over twenty novels and novellas including Kindle Unlimited All-Star winner Sweet Hollow Women. Her books feature quirky, flawed characters and the kind of crazy scenarios that could only happen to someone you probably know. What do I wish I would have known before publishing my first book?

I'd tell my pre-published self not to get hung up on finding a traditional publisher. For years I sent out queries and pitched to agents at writing seminars but couldn't get a deal. I felt helpless and like my career was in everyone else's hands. Once I finally let go of that plan and published on my own, I was in control of my writing and publishing journey and so much happier. If other people can't help you get where you want to go, find your own way.
